Trust us. We understand busy schedules. In fact, many of the members we have here at Alvin CrossFit initially joined because they needed a more efficient workout that didn’t require them to be in the gym for hours at a time. That’s why we’ve compiled this list of eight ways you can make your time at the box as productive and fulfilling as possible.

BE ACCOUNTABLE

Now that we've established a training schedule we can get to the fun part...making new friends! That being said, if you've never set foot in a CrossFit gym, you won't truly appreciate this community aspect until you experience it because if you've ever been in a globo gym, there's not a lot of socializing taking place. In fact, you're more than likely to see people walking around with their heads buried in Facebook, listening to headphones or taking the obligatory gym selfie. There's a time for that but why not get to know some friendly people and see when they come to the gym so you can join them cause after all, interacting with people is more fun than not! Being a part of a fun group of people that encourage you and check in on you when you don't show up is a HUGE factor in exercise longevity AND success in reaching your goals.


Bottom line: If you like the people you exercise with, you're more likely to succeed!
